Storytelling & Advocacy

Real stories. Deeper conversations. A more human world.

Stories Worth Telling

I tell stories about people, history, recovery, injustice, resilience, and the complicated parts of being human.

I'm especially interested in the stories that have been overlooked, misunderstood, forgotten, or never given the attention they deserved. Sometimes that means asking uncomfortable questions. Sometimes it means looking deeper into something we've been taught to accept at face value. And sometimes it simply means making sure someone's story is heard.

My work is grounded in research, empathy, and a belief that storytelling can help us understand one another a little better.

Have a Story I Should Know About?

If you know of a real story that deserves attention, send it to me.

I'm interested in stories involving individuals, families, communities, recovery, social issues, history, injustice, resilience, and ordinary people experiencing extraordinary circumstances.

The story must be factual and verifiable.

When submitting something, please provide as much information as you can, including names, dates, locations, credible sources, news coverage, public records, documentation, or contact information for people who can help verify the story.

About

I am Charity Faye Alexander, a storyteller, content creator, artist, recovery advocate, and someone who believes deeply in the power of an honest conversation.

I tell real human stories. I talk about recovery and what it actually looks like to rebuild a life. I ask uncomfortable questions, explore social issues, and use my platform to bring attention to people and stories that deserve to be heard.

A lot of what I create comes from lived experience. The rest comes from curiosity, research, and a genuine desire to understand people better.

At the center of everything I do is a simple purpose: to be of maximum service to another human being.
