Speaking Engagements
Public Speaking
Some stories don't just inspire us.
They wake something up in us.
I know what it means to lose yourself, to start over, to face the consequences of your own choices, and to build a life you once weren't sure was possible.
When I speak, I don't stand in front of a room pretending to have all the answers. I tell the truth. I talk about recovery, resilience, identity, failure, courage, service, and the messy, uncomfortable work of becoming who you were always capable of being.
My talks combine lived experience, storytelling, humor, vulnerability, and hope to create something people can actually feel — not just listen to.
I want people to leave the room thinking differently about what they've survived, what they're capable of, and what they're willing to do next.
Because sometimes the thing standing between us and the life we want is simply the courage to do the next hard thing.
Perfect for: women's empowerment events, conferences, schools and universities, community organizations, nonprofits, panels, workshops, leadership events, and audiences ready for an honest conversation about change.
Professional speaking engagements begin at $500. Rates vary based on event length, location, travel, audience, and preparation.
Speaking at AA/NA meetings, treatment centers, H&I panels, and similar recovery-service settings will always be service to me. I do not charge for those engagements.

About
I am Charity Faye Alexander, a storyteller, content creator, artist, recovery advocate, and someone who believes deeply in the power of an honest conversation.
I tell real human stories. I talk about recovery and what it actually looks like to rebuild a life. I ask uncomfortable questions, explore social issues, and use my platform to bring attention to people and stories that deserve to be heard.
A lot of what I create comes from lived experience. The rest comes from curiosity, research, and a genuine desire to understand people better.
At the center of everything I do is a simple purpose: to be of maximum service to another human being.
